3 How Media URLs Are Processed (Transient Pipeline)

When you submit a video link (e.g., from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, or Facebook):

• Transient Extraction: The URL is parsed exclusively in volatile server memory (RAM) solely to query stream resolutions and audio tracks.
• Direct Stream Delivery: Media segments are streamed directly into your browser. Once your download finishes, all temporary processing buffers are purged immediately.
• Local Browser History: If you use the "Saved History" feature, this information is stored locally on your device via HTML5 localStorage and client browser cookies. It is never uploaded to our servers.

4 Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal, strictly functional cookies and local storage tokens:

• Theme Preference: Storing your preference for Dark Theme or White Theme (reclip_theme).
• Local Download History: Keeping track of your downloaded files on your own device so you can re-access them.
